We'll start the tour in the Central Market, discovering the medicinal plant stalls and talking about traditions, culture and history.
During the second half of this online tour we'll walk through San Jose's beautiful parks, where you'll see and learn about the different types of trees and vegetation and their possible uses.

Technically, the Costa Rican capital is in the middle of the tropical rainforest.
If you go just a few kilometres outside the city, you'll find the humidity, vegetation and animals that are typical of the Costa Rican rainforest.
But be warned: the city is at an altitude of over 1,100 metres, so it's not as hot as we could expect it to be!
