We encourage locals to get involved in tourism-related projects that will ultimately create a source of income for them. For example, we started a CSR project with a Bedouin family in the Wahiba desert in Oman where we invested in camping tents and other resources needed by the family in charge of managing the operation of the site. As a result, the clients will have the typical and authentic experience of living with a local Bedouin and at the same time, it will provide the locals with an additional income.
We also offer our guests many Heritage Homes, guesthouses run and owned by locals. It is a very nice experience for travelers to have knowledge about the daily life of the locals and it creates additional income and job opportunities for the locals.
Finally, most of our guides in rural destinations are villagers from those same villages and share their personal experiences with travelers during the treks. In fact, all the guides in the Jebel Shams, Misfat, Jabal Akhdar and Al Hamra regions are villagers.
